Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Azmi who was born April 10, 1986, in India is an actress who has primarily appeared on Hindi films. In 2004 Ayesha Takia was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her starring performance on Taarzan The Wonder Car which served as her acting debut. In the following years, she starred in a variety of popular films such as Paathshaala 2010 Wanted 2009 Salaam-E-Ishq 2007 as well as Socha Na Tha 2010. Her first cameo was for a commercial for the world-renowned health beverage Complan. Shahid Kapoor and she were in the iconic advertisement "I'm Complan girl, I'm Complan boy". In the song remix Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin the singer was also featured. Because of its popularity her popularity grew during India's period of remixes. Soon, she started getting offers for Bollywood film projects. Taarzan The Wonder Car was known late to her debut, which was supposed to be part of the film Socha Na Tha but was put off by production problems. After she was criticized by her political father-in law Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi's position on the punishment of victim of rape as well, Ayesha showed her moral courage. Ayesha announced her commitment to veganism in public when she took part in PETA's Indian advertisement. In 2006 she appeared on the list of Most Desirable Women of India.
